Doctors Best Alpha-Lipoic Acid 600 is a powerful antioxidant that is both fat and water soluble; it is sometimes referred to as the ‘universal antioxidant’.

 ALA supports the body’s defence against free radicals and recycles antioxidant nutrients such as vitamins C and E as well as playing a role in the recycling of glutathione.

 Alpha-Lipoic Acid functions as a co-enzyme in the metabolism of carbohydrates. It is required for synthesis of acetyl CoA, a key metabolite in the cellular process that turns glucose into energy. Alpha-Lipoic Acid provides antioxidant support. It also supports healthy glucose metabolism, healthy aging and supports cardiovascular health. 

Each capsule contains: 
Alpha-lipoic acid……600mg
Other Ingredients: modified cellulose (vegetarian capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium silicate, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (vegetable source).

Directions

Take one capsule daily, preferably between meals or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner. Store in a cool dry place.
