Propolis is a resinous substance produced by honey bees from tree buds, sap, and other plant sources. It is a rich source of flavonoids.

Benefits
Propolis is an antioxidant - it can reduce free radicals formed in the body. Propolis has been traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to help enhance immune system function, and to enhance healing of minor skin cuts, wounds and abrasions.

Directions
Oral: Dissolve 5-10 drops in half a glass of water as a drink, gargle or for irrigation.
Topical: Swab affected area with cotton bud soaked in liquid.

Cautions
Propolis may cause allergic reactions. If irritation or swelling of the mouth or throat occurs, discontinue use. Propolis may cause skin irritation. Test before use. If symptoms persist, consult a healthcare professional.
