Nature's Sunshine Horsetail is also known as shavegrass, contains a highly absorbable silica, the highest amount of any herb. Silica is a trace mineral that supports collagen formation and works with calcium for healthy bones. 
Nature’s Sunshine Horsetail's rich silica content explains the herbs use for supporting the skeletal system, connective tissues throughout the body and is important in the building and normal repair of healthy connective tissue, skin elasticity, as well as promoting the health of hair, nails and skin.
